As Shannon and I were researching different trailer, when we came across one in which we found perfect for the idea we want to carry out and create. This idea being different snippets of the film with very quick transactions and black-outs. The film trailer which we found was for Insidious. We both said we have never seen such a good horror trailer before. It is a teaser trailer, which is even better as this is what we are having to create for our coursework.
The trailer -
This trailer is only 31 seconds, it is a very short but effective trailer. This proves that the length of the trailer doesn't matter. I also like how there is no narrative voice over, or music in the background it is only the sound effects, which adds to the tension of the film. They use a range of camera shots which moves on the story. This film however had a very high budget - $1,500,000 (estimated).
