*Matt on phone in kitchen*
Matt: Come on, not tomorrow it's my little girl's birthday.
*pauses*
Matt: Ok, Ok I got to go!
*Hangs up phone*
*Shannon enters*

Shannon: Who was that?
*CUT*
Location- By the front door
Matt: (shouting) I'm off to baseball, have you seen my keys?

*CUT to extreme close up of Shannon's hand picking up keys *
*CUT to Shannon running down stairs*
Shannon: Here you go
*Matt turns to walk off but Shannon grabs his arm*
Shannon: Where's my kiss?
*Matt sighs. Kisses Shannon on cheek and walks out of shot*
*Cut to Matt playing with friends*
*Cut to Shannon finding paper*
*Cut back to Matt playing*
*Cut back to Shannon opening letter*
*Back to Matt in playing field*-
Matt: (Shouting) Bye guys!
(waves behind him

Location: House
*Matt walks in front door*
Matt: (shouting) I'm home!

Location: Top of stairs
*Both characters at the top of the stairs*
Shannon: I would like to know what this is?
*SLOW MOTION ARGUING* (including Matt reaching for baseball bat beside him)
*Matt hits Shannon with bat*

*CUT to Shannon falling down stairs* (Camera angle shot from top of stairs)

*CUT to Matt digging (Long shot)
- then close up of spade*

*CUT to Matt dropping Shannon (with cloth wrapped around)*
*CUT to Shannon's hand appearing to come out of the ground*
*CUT to bare feet moving on mud (with cloth on ground)*
*CUT to Matt turning off light*
