Inspiration for ancillary tasks.

For the magazine front cover, we found this one and want to take it as a great inspiration. It is so simple yet so effective. I like how the head is covering the title. This means it is so well known that they don't need to see the whole thing. I want to do this for ours so it looks like a big magazine. The main image is the one that Shannon wanted to go with, just having a main person, not in character on the front. I can understand where she is coming from, and on this magazine it looks effective, however I am still not 100% sure about it working on our magazine. I will give it a go and see what happens out of it. I like the puff at the top  because it attracts the reader's attention. I also love the blue main words, with then the story continuing underneath it. I would want to copy the side bar, however change the side because then the audience see it as they open the magazine. I love the blood effect however if we were to do it i recon we should have the bat in the front cover as it is the murder weapon of the film, so it relates back to our trailer more. I love how the outfit is simple yet compliments the title because of the colours, which also where they are dark bring out the blue and make it stand out More. The price is small and so its not the first thing the audience sees. Although I don't want our bar code in the same position as it wouldn't work with the image we have.

This is the inspiration we have taken for our film poster. The idea of having feet walking away, and the murder weapon in the poster ( the bat). I think we should keep the background simple though because we want the main focus to be on the bat and the feet. I like the idea of having the dark colours contrasted with the bright red and the pure white. I like how everything is kept to one side which draws the focus to the image. This is a great inspiration for our poster, what we want to try and create.
